Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Apex Roof & Consulting, Inc collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have written it in plain language because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

This website collects nothing

Worth stating plainly: apexroof.co sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts or tracking pixels. You can read every page without giving us anything. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses, as every web host does. We use those only for security and reliability, and we do not combine them with anything else.

What we collect when you contact us

We collect information when you choose to give it to us — by submitting a service request, calling, texting or emailing us. That typically includes:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• The address of the property you want us to work on
• What you need done, and any context or access notes you give us
• Your preferred contact method and any scheduling preferences
• Confirmation that you authorise us to enter the property

Our service request form is hosted on Cubre, the project management platform we operate ourselves. Submitting it sends your information directly to us.

What we collect while doing the work

Roofing work generates records about your property. Depending on the job, that can include:

• Inspection findings, measurements and roof condition assessments
• Photographs of your property, including the roof, exterior and any damage
• Insurance carrier, claim number and claim correspondence, where we are helping with a claim
• Manufacturer warranty and product registration details
• Estimates, invoices, payment records and job history

How we use it

• To respond to your request and schedule an inspection or estimate
• To perform the work, order materials and coordinate crews
• To advocate for you with insurance carriers and manufacturers
• To invoice you and process payment
• To keep records we may need years later for warranty or claim questions
• To send you updates about your project

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

To do the work: we share what is necessary with subcontractors and crews assigned to your project, material suppliers filling your order, and — where you have asked us to help with a claim — your insurance carrier, adjuster and the relevant manufacturer.

To run the business: we use the service providers below. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Text messages

We text customers about their projects — scheduling, arrival windows and status updates. We text you only if you gave us your number and agreed to be contacted that way.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or tell us by phone or email. Opting out of texts does not affect your project; we will contact you another way. Message and data rates may apply, and we do not sell or share your phone number for anyone else's marketing.

Payments

Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or account number goes to Stripe directly and is never stored on our systems. We keep a record of what was paid, when, and for which job — not the payment credentials themselves.

Photographs of your property

We photograph properties as a normal part of inspection, claim documentation and project records. We may also use those photographs to show our work— on this website, our Google Business Profile, or social media.

When we do, we show the work, not your identity: we do not publish your name, your street address, or anything else that identifies you as the owner.If you would rather we did not use photographs of your property at all, tell us and we will not. You can ask at any time, including after the job is finished, and we will remove them going forward.

How long we keep it

Longer than you might expect, and deliberately. Roofing work carries warranties that run for decades, and insurance and tax questions can surface years after a job. We keep project records, inspection findings, photographs and invoices for as long as they may be needed for warranty, insurance, tax or legal purposes. Enquiries that never became projects are kept for a much shorter period.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Give you a copy of it
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it for warranty, insurance, tax or legal reasons
• Stop texting or emailing you
• Stop using photographs of your property

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Our platform requires authentication, and access to customer records is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not keep payment card numbers, and we do not retain information we have no use for.

Children

Our services are for property owners and their representatives. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly rewritten.
