Unless you are an existing customer, we will almost always need to inspect your roof for any of our services. Please fill out the Service Request form above to get started.
Once we receive your request, we will coordinate an appointment via email. You do not need to be present for the inspection if you don’t want to be. Please ensure you give us permission to perform our inspection in the request form if you will not be present.

Our philosophy is very simple: take care of people and operate with integrity. We have built our company and client base almost exclusively through word-of-mouth referrals. If you’ve found us, it’s likely because someone trusted us enough to refer you.
We operate through low-pressure, honest assessments and are not in the business of selling services people don’t need. We go above and beyond to take care of our clients and their homes, provide free upgrades when available, and always take accountability if things go wrong or need attention.
Our reputation precedes us and stands out in an industry that often runs counter to our values. You can trust that we will not only take care of your current roof project but also extend the same experience, expertise, and care to anyone you refer to us.

There are two types of estimates we interact with: insurance and out-of-pocket.
Insurance estimates are provided by your provider. If your insurance covers your roof replacement or repairs, we will request a copy to match their numbers, ensuring you receive the full funds owed. If we provide an out-of-pocket estimate that is less than your insurance estimate, your insurance will adjust their estimate to reflect the difference. Therefore, contracting directly from your insurance estimate is easiest and necessary, as you cannot retain any funds by contracting for less.
Out-of-pocket estimates are for customers whose work falls outside insurance coverage, whose claims have been denied, or who do not involve their insurance. We provide a fair-market estimate valid for six months.
Under Colorado Revised Statute § 6-22, the homeowner is responsible for paying their entire deductible. If you are contracting with an insurance estimate, you will only be responsible for paying your deductible and any scope items not included in your estimate.

Apex’s role is to inform you of the condition of your roof so you can make an educated decision about filing a claim. Your insurance provider has the ultimate authority over claims, regardless of our findings or opinions. The order of operations is as follows:
Inspection and Report: We inspect your roof and provide a report detailing its condition, including the scope and age of damage, and the roof’s age (important if you have a depreciation policy).
Filing a Claim: If you decide to involve insurance, you will contact them to file a claim, indicating that a roofing contractor inspected your roof and found warrantable damage.
Insurance Inspection: An adjuster will be assigned to perform an independent inspection. It is not necessary for us to be present for this inspection, although we can be if requested.
Coverage Decision: The insurance company will decide on coverage. If approved, they will send you an estimate, which we will contract directly from (see the ‘How does the estimate process work’ section for more information). If denied, you may appeal their decision, but first research any potential penalties your provider might impose.
Funding: Depending on your provider’s terms, they will provide all or a portion of the funds to cover our deposit.
Completion and Final Payment: Once we’ve completed the work, you will send our final invoice to your provider to collect any remaining funds and close the claim.

Once you accept our estimate, the order of operations is as follows:
Deposit Collection: We will collect a standard 50% deposit of your estimate total unless otherwise discussed.
Project Timeline Coordination: We will coordinate a rough timeline of your roofing project with you, including material delivery, replacement date, and final inspections. The average time between material delivery and final inspection is 3 days, though this may vary.
Material Ordering and Delivery: We will order your materials, and an independent supplier will deliver them.
Roof Replacement: The project duration depends on the size, scope, pitch, and access of your roof. While 90% of average residential roofing projects are completed in a single day, some may extend into multiple days. If your scope includes items such as gutters, fascia, or other components apart from the roof replacement, they will be handled by a separate crew, typically the next day, but before the final inspection.
Final Inspection and Permit Closure: We will coordinate with the city/county to perform your final inspection and close out your permit.
Final Invoice and Payment: We will send you a final invoice and collect the remaining 50% of your estimate total.
